Our Guides
Our guides are consummate professionals, having climbed, guided and taught in most of the world's great ranges. Exploring wild places is the very core of our guides, which live, work & play in many of the amazing foreign countries we operate in. Skills and experience's that our guides bring range from climbing Everest, Pumori, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, exploring un-named peaks in Tibet, climbing 8,000 meter mountains in Pakistan, trekking in Fitz Roy National Park, Torres del Paine National Park, climbing Aconcagua, drinking mate with local gaucho’s, speaking Spanish and much more! Each guide you will encounter knows what great client care looks like and will give each client individual time before, during and after your journey.
Safety and Risk Management
Safety and Risk Management are very important to this organization and will never be compromised. Each guide has gone through extensive risk management training and understands clearly the policies of Mountain Professionals. Along with requiring a risk management training, wilderness medical training, each guide is encouraged to become AMGA certified. Mountain Professionals will strive to hire AMGA certified guides on each expedition.
Environmental Leadership
Mountain Professionals adheres to stringent Leave No Trace practices and is sensitive to the environments, cultures and customs of the many countries we operate in.
