Tomorrow we will complete our first and the most difficult degree..
This sounds a bit strange if you think we still have 9 degrees to go which is roughly 1000km but if you take in mind that Paula and I (Jaco) already had contact with Ryan more than a year ago, that I started my training in January, that I said my wife and 3 kids goodbye early November, that we have been packing and preparing in Punta, that we have been challenged with 5 days delay, that after being dropped we climbed 650m with our 110kg sleds and that we as a team needed to find our rhythm regarding safety, skiing as a team, building and putting camp and lastly dealing with our new environment you might agree with me that this degree is way much bigger than just our first degree.
