It’s that period where the 90 degree point is just to far to think of, where 50 days in total as a number is just too big and where our visibility is day in day out 360 degrees the same, meaning a white pancake at the bottom and a blue sky above with the only exception of three colorful explorers in the center. But to be fair this was for me one of the reasons to sign up for this expedition. Curious about how I will deal with these mental and physical challenges and coming back stronger. By the way talking about these 3 explorers they are becoming a very solid team that is working hard to make good progress (today we reached 84 degrees) and helping and supporting each other when needed in many ways which is making this trip very special.
