The final trip of the season! Congratulations to the final team that reached the summit of Mt. Vinson on January 18! The group is now back at basecamp and had a celebratory dinner of steak and champagne to cap off a long awaited summit climb.
After spending several days waiting out strong winds at high camp, the patience paid off with a nice summit day complete with 25 minutes on top and able to take off gloves to snap photos! We will post a recap of high resolution photos when the final Vinson group makes it back to Chile.
