The climbing team has reached the small village of Dingboche at 4410 meters and are now taking a rest day. It has been a good hike from Namche to reach the current location. The group visited the Tengboche Monastery and stopped over to visit the Lama in Pangboche for a very nice Puja ceremony.
So far all is going quite well with the group and everyone is feeling strong. They will hike up a few hundred meters for acclimatization and then relax in town the rest of the day. Tomorrow they will continue the trek up to Lobuche and then eventually Gorak Shep and Everest Basecamp to follow!
