December 20th. The team is still at Vinson base camp due to cloudy weather…the cloud layer has been persistent for two days. But, the team is still enjoying and getting some unexpected rest days before flying back to Union Glacier. Tomorrow is looking better and the odds are that they will get out on the twin otter planes back to the Union camp.
Our two additional South Pole Last degree ski trip team members have already arrived to Union Glacier and are awaiting our return from Vinson to get started on the ski trip!
Hopefully things all start moving along soon and the programs can launch.
